Biographical Info:- Pompi Mazumdar originally hails from the Cachar District, Assam, India and was born in a Bengali family. Grew up in a small town named Silchar, She later on moved to Bangalore in the year 2006 after completing her post-graduation (Master of Business Administration in Human Resource Management & Marketing Management) and worked for many Multi-National companies as Human Resource Professional. She is an HR by profession and a Writer by choice. She has a great love for Art, Culture, Music & Poetry. She is also a blogger and a Poet and wrote more than 100 poems in Hindi (Original Hindi & Roman Script). She is also intimately involved with JobsForHer.Com as an Ambassador and helping women across the globe to build up their self-respect, self-confidence and fight for women rights overcoming the obstacles & challenges of the male-dominated society. She wants to eradicate social harassment, inhumanity, inequality and gender discrimination through her writings and want to work for the upliftment of the Society.
She is very ambitious by nature and has a great passion for Writing. She likes reading, writing, blogging, networking, travelling. She is very sporty by nature and loves adventurous sports, photography, interior decoration. She is also keen to explore new places, ideas and cultures. She is very much fond of food and has a strong belief in healthy food habits and healthy lifestyles.
She believes that music can do a miracle in any situation and can lift the spirits and soothes one’s soul, body and mind. She likes to overcome challenges with her efforts and help others to overcome their problems and obstacles.

Pompi: I completed my Post Graduation in the year 2006. I am an HR by Profession and a Writer by choice. I love Reading, Writing, Exploring things and Places, Singing & Playing. I am very Sporty by Nature. I am Self- Dependent and love to do things of my own. I believe in Truth and facts of Life. Currently, I am put up in Hyderabad with my family and working for a Multi-National Entertainment Company as an HR.
Booksclinic: What is your writing process? Do you follow a regular routine?
Pompi: I follow a straight forward writing style and keep my script very simple and easy to understand without referring to any dictionary. I do not like to use tough or bombastic words to prove my writing talent & skills. I want my writing to be friendly to all age groups.
Booksclinic: What are the most important elements of good writing? According to you, what tools are must-haves for writers?
Pompi: The most essential elements of good writing are truth and true facts of life. What we write should relate to the life of common and ordinary people.
Writers should keep one thing in mind while penning down anything. A Pen is a tool which can educate the minds of Human Beings/Human Soul..We should always focus on those things which can have the power and positivity to change the thought process of a mind, Which can bring truth to society. Which can bring self-confidence, self-dependence, self-motivation, courage and positive vibration towards the well being of human mind and Society.
Booksclinic: What motivates you to write?
Pompi: My experiences of what I see and feel motivates me to write.
I want to bring happiness and truthfulness to the Society with the power of my words and writings.
I want to spread the message of Goodness that I see, feel and experience in my day to day life and educate and aware my surroundings.
Booksclinic: Do you ever suffer from writer’s blog? If so, what do you do about it?
Pompi: if it is regarding blog then yes sometimes. The writers who touch our mind and soul with their writings leave behind an influence in me.
Booksclinic: Do you have any advice for other writers?
Pompi: Always speak the truth. Make a difference in the society with your writing. Spread goodness, well-being and awareness.
Booksclinic: What is the message in your book? What are your readers’ reactions to it?
Pompi: This Novel is mainly for entertainment to keep the readers away from their daily boredom, tiredness and tensions from their day to day routine and bring smiles to their faces with a tinge of Comedy, Drama and articulated Script.
The messages that are focused are as follows:
i) Family Unity and Love at Hard times.
ii) To find out the root cause and true facts from depth. How and why things are happening with reasoning.
iii) To discard all Evil with a justifiable solution.
iv) To stand firm in crucial situations
v) To face the odds with Inner Strength, Physical Power and Confidence to uproot all Evil happenings around us.
vi) Having faith in oneself
vii) True love has the power and strength to make you ready to face all odds of life overcoming all obstacles and by breaking all shackles.

Pompi: Yes, I learnt to organise myself. I discovered to concentrate on a particular topic from the beginning to the end. I learnt the techniques to make the readers happy.

Pompi: I have lots of Plans in mind. Want to finish a few of the Projects in the next few years. Want to Cover the story of Common Man of our Society who rose to the heights of Success & achievement with facts and Figures. Want to cover their Real life Experiences and Stories that made a difference in the Society.

Pompi: Books of Sadh Guru, Rabindra Nath Tagore, Satyajit Ray, Ruskin Bond, Chetan Bhagat, Harsha Bhogle, Jhumpa Lahiri and many other Novelists influenced my Life & Writing.
