Born on 3rd April, 1975 in a small village Kahardih in Jamui district, Bihar, India. He is the fourth child of Mr. Kantlal Pandey (a retired high school teacher of Hindi literature) and Mrs. Shanti Devi (a housewife and homemaker) among four brothers and two sisters. He got his school education in the proximity of his father from KHB High School, Keshopur where his father was a teacher, Intermediate from his district college, KKM college, Jamui and Honours and MA (in English literature) from Deoghar College Deoghar. Kumod Kumar was inspired by his father as he himself composed poems in Hindi. He married Kiran in May, 1996. His first novel “Alteration: The Change” published in January, 2018 and the second book “Flavour and Fragrance” (poetry collection) the same year. “Forlorn: The Deprived” is his third creation. His next creation “Ambedkar: The Architect” is in progress which will reveal some hidden and mysterious part of his life.
