“I have nothing more to say regarding this book which contains some of the musings and outpourings of my heart. These poems are sequenced here in the same way as they were written at different phases of my life being the sole witness to my sorrow and joy, growth and evolution except one or two whose position I changed because of their relevance now- for example, the title poem. No doubt, when I wished to bare my heart to a patient listener, these poems have willingly taken their seats in silence.
I believe this world needs beautiful minds with positive thoughts and dreams of a new dawn, built upon the morass of a languid earth, a symphony that reminds the reason we are here, the enchantment of a life in harmony. And I believe, these dreams will be alive one day. Pandemic may come, death may scare, violence may threaten, yet life is for realizing dreams, to bring light and joy. Hope, each of my poems in this collection will lead to that dream.
